On the weekend two groups of Boarders accompanied Mr Dan and Ms Ainslie to the Free Tree Planting Society (FTS) in Bangsar. Our aim was to “take seeds, sprout them, look after the seedlings, then giveaway all the plants for free, simply to encourage a love of nature”.

Paintballing was really fun and exciting, despite the fact that I have never been before and that I did get hit numerous times. Although the pain of a paintball hitting me was temporary, the adrenaline remained high with plenty of running and attempts to evade paintballs; some more successful than others.

Last Saturday afternoon, some boarders were treated to a thrilling time at the Flowrider 1 Utama. Some of us as young as ten years of age and including Mr Dan himself got to try their hand at the two types of surfing offered: bodyboarding and flow-boarding. We were briefed on the proper techniques and suited up in appropriate swimwear before taking turns on the Flowrider.
