At Nexus, our Early Years learners spend the day in a nurturing and playful environment. Our daily timetable has been carefully designed to provide a programme to meet the needs of the whole child.
Learners are provided with a range of different learning experiences across the day, with a balance of adult-led and child-initiated opportunities. Our timetable allows for flexibility, to allow for spontaneous learning opportunities related to our learners interests. Our aim is to nurture their curiosity and support them in developing their ability to extend and deepen their own learning.
Each learner has their own personalised learning journey which is developed on a daily basis through planned individual next steps. Parents receive regular updates on individual learning and whole class experiences, we share these through personalised online learning journals
