Term 2 Week 4
The highlight of the shortened school week was having our very own Chinese New Year dinner. Mr Rafudin prepared a splendid abundance of Chinese dishes, the dumplings and spring rolls were hugely popular.
Houseparents organised bingo, a costume-making competition and a relay race with participants required to hold a small piece of chocolate with chopsticks while attempting to complete the short indoor course.
To finish off the evening, many enjoyed watching the romantic movie Our Times, with plenty of popcorn provided for all.
The annual Boarding Singles Pool Competition also commenced with twenty boarders competing for this year’s title and trophy. Dhruvi and Wendy played well by winning their respective matches. Well done girls!
