Term 1 Week 4
Last Saturday we visited SkyTrex Adventure in Shah Alam which is a challenging and nerve-wracking tree to tree ‘sky-trekking’ experience where you can fly, swing, glide and dangle on the various aerial obstacles suspended above the lush tropical Malaysian Rainforest.
The boarders were a little apprehensive at the beginning of their ‘trek’ but by the end of the afternoon they were all experts and they wanted more. Some individuals conquered their fear of heights due to their peers encouragement and by sheer determination.
This week our boarding house food committee was chosen. Following discussions with all boarders, our food committee attend regular meetings with our chef Mr Rafudin, providing feedback on meals that we are provided with. Currently during the week we eat at least two International dinner dishes as well as every Wednesday evening, one year group has the opportunity to select what we will all eat for dinner.
Last week we had a farewell dinner to Ms Xin who has kindly been supervising in the boarding house. We would like to thank her for everything that she has done and we wish her well with her new job in Singapore.
