Term 1 Week 10
Last Saturday over forty boarders visited the Aquaria KLCC where the viewed a wide variety of aquatic animals. The tour through the ninety metre long underwater tunnel featured different zones such as the living ocean, deep forest and the weird and wonderful. We were amazed at the sight of the rare Red-Bellied Piranha, Sand-Tiger Sharks and a ten foot long gigantic Arapaima.
The highlight however was witnessing the feeding of the huge stingrays who look so graceful underwater.
Our Year 12 boarders (along with their fellow day learners) attended PTLC last Wednesday, visiting their tutors to gain feedback on their progress so far. Following their Pathway Exams, they selected what subjects they would be studying at Standard or Higher Level for the duration of the IB Diploma Course.
Finally, just a reminder to parents and guardians about the procedure of allowing any form of permission for boarders. Please send permission via email to boardingpermission@nexus.edu.my.
All house staff will receive the message however, an acknowledgment email will be sent to you by ‘on-duty’ staff or Ms Lina as soon as possible confirming approved permission.
