Walk in the park - courtesy of conditional MCO
After seven weeks of being in lockdown, we were able to enjoy a semblance of normality with a conditional movement control order announced by the Prime Minister last week.
This enabled staff and boarders to cautiously make the most of being able to venture off school grounds and walk within our ‘bubble’ around the nearby jungle and park, where we were the only people about. The air freshness yet humid conditions are something we have all missed and we all felt so rejuvenated on our return back to the boarding house.
Fun & learning continues indoors
Over the course of the week we have played bingo, dodgeball, and exercised together by completing an in-house ‘Spell Your Name Workout’ as well as some yoga which Ms Gill has been instructing to improve our overall health and wellbeing. It has been nice to see not only boarders involved but also boarding house residents Ms Joan and Ms Leilah, which displays our community spirit!
