Y6 Showcase

Nov 16, 2018
On Friday 19th October year 6 shared their learning journey of "Earth as an Island" on the stage. This special assembly shared all of their learning from this recent IPC unit. They focussed on the realisation that islands used to be isolated places, with unique cultures, geographical features and ecosystems. However in today's increasingly-interdependent global community, even the most remote of islands are being ever-more affected by human existence. Through all of their different lenses and with the use of a very special shell they shared how they had learnt about this change and researched who was to blame. The big question posed for the audience to think about was "Are humans ruining islands?". Take a look and you decide!
