Nexus learners achieve fantastic IB results - again

Dear Parents,
I am delighted to be able to share with you, another superb set of IB results from our graduating class of 2018. 51 learners sat for the IB exams, of which 2 were Courses Certificate candidates and 49 were full Diploma candidates. The pass rate this year was 93.88% - well above the world average of 80%. 2 of our learners achieved a phenomenal score of 43 and a total of 7 learners gained 40+ points, which represents 13.72% of the total cohort. The school’s average result was 33.65 points, which, as last year, is well above the world average of approx 30.2. For the first time a handful of Nexus Learners achieved the Bilingual Diploma, which is awarded to candidates who complete and receive a grade 3 or higher in two languages selected from the DP course studies in language and literature. Nexus continues to achieve solid academic results that compliment its holistic programmes. Nexus graduates continue to be high academic achievers who are also internationally minded, well-rounded, independent young people. Skilful, dedicated teachers together with involved, caring parents have enabled our enthusiastic and talented learners to succeed and thrive and I thank and congratulate you all.
