Learners Build Hot Air Balloon from Recycled Plastics

To promote the reduction of single-use plastic, Year 9 and Year 10 Nexus learners collaborated with Hara Makers and the Reimagine Plastic Project to create a hot air balloon from scratch.
Learners collected single-use plastics from the Nexus Community and made panels for the balloon. The final product was a large hot air balloon that dwarfed expectations.
