A huge congratulations to our IBDP Nexus learner, Emily Kuik, who has been awarded the prestigious Lester B. Pearson International Scholarship by The University of Toronto! On behalf of the #NexusCommunity, we would like to take this opportunity to congratulate you on your amazing achievement. We wish you every success in the future and hope you fulfil your dream of becoming a Clinical Psychologist.
Each year schools around the world may nominate a single learner for the scholarship, with approximately only 37 outstanding students awarded it annually. The Lester B. Pearson Scholarship is The University of Toronto's most reputable and competitive scholarship, providing full tuition and incidental fees for Emily's entire undergraduate degree of 4 years.
The scholarship is intended to acknowledge international students who demonstrate exceptional academic achievement and creativity and who are recognised as leaders within their school. A special emphasis is placed on the impact the student has had on the life of their school and community, and their future potential to contribute positively to the global community.
