I will be making this exciting move to Malaysia together with my husband, Jol. I started working as a drama teacher and theatre director in 2010 after completing my Bachelor’s degree in Theatre Education in the Netherlands. In 2014 I decided to go traveling in South-East Asia during which I completed my English teaching qualification and since, have taught English and Drama in Bali, Australia, The Netherlands and Italy.
I love the connections I can make between drama and English, and that I can approach my passion for theatre from two angles. In my free time I enjoy reading, photography and learning new crafts and languages. I am hoping I can go scuba diving again and become better at (kite)surfing! Jol and I already feel extremely welcomed by the Nexus community and I am very much looking forward to meeting my new colleagues and all the learners.
