My teaching journey began 11 years ago in the UK where I worked for 5 years before moving to international teaching. Since then, I have worked in China for 5 years and one year in El Salvador. I love the excitement and adventure that working within a school community brings. I have heard great things about Nexus International School from colleagues. I am excited to join a great team and meet the wonderful children and parents at Nexus.
During my teaching career, I have always enjoyed teaching literacy and bringing children’s books to life in the classroom. I look forward to sharing all of my favourite stories with my new class at Nexus International School and taking part in all of the wonderful and challenging tasks ahead of us in Year 2 this year.
I love to travel and I hope to continue this in Malaysia. When travelling, I like nothing more than hiking in the mountains or visiting a secluded beach. At home, I also like to take part in yoga classes or going on a long walk with my husband.
I am originally from the North-West of England, where I cam lucky enough to be able to explore the beautiful countryside each time I return for a visit.
