Michael De Rosas

I am enormously excited to begin my journey as a new house parent in the boarding house and a member of the Nexus community. Born and raised in the Philippines, I became a boarder myself during my high school years and has led me to become a house parent in one of the international boarding schools in Thailand. Leadership has always been my passion as my younger years were spent leading young people in improving their lives as a whole and later on as a pastoral leader in an international boarding community full with young people of diverse culture. I have always had an innate interest in Health, Science and the world around me. This passion led me to become a Philippine Licensed Nurse and this has helped me with my career in a community based environment like the boarding house.

I am an avid fan of basketball but also have great interests in football, badminton, table tennis, tennis, track and field and swimming. Me and my family also like to travel and explore the world. Hence, we are now heading to Malaysia to discover and learn more about different cultures and backgrounds. I also like taking photos and making films as well as playing my guitar whenever I'm relaxing.

We are looking forward to experiencing the new challenges that lay ahead at Nexus and Malaysia! See you all!
