Lum Kit May

Kit May was trained in Bachelors of Education (Primary Education) (Honours) and graduated with First Class Honours. Prior to being a primary school teacher at Nexus, she spent her free time teaching in a refugee centre in Kuala Lumpur; participated in a cultural exchange programme in Bario, Sarawak where she taught a local to communicate in English and conducted intercultural programmes. She sees herself in developing her passion through tailoring differentiated lessons to help learners reach their full potential in her classroom. Furthermore, she encourages her learners to apply their learning to real-world situations. Outside of the classroom, Kit May seeks to support those in the same profession and has recently organised TeachMeet @ Nexus. She looks forward to share all that she knows and is enthusiastic in learning from others too.
