Gareth qualified as a teacher at Leeds Uni in English and Theatre up to Year 13, consequently working 5 years at the BRIT School in London delivering English, Humanities and Sociology at all levels. He became fluent in Italian whilst teaching for 9 years at the British School Milan, was head of house at Harrow School Beijing and International Award coordinator during his 5 years at Tenby International School SEP in Kuala Lumpur.
He brings with him skills learnt from a diploma in Social Research Methods which has helped his previous Extended Essay students; experience as a Geography, History and Drama teacher; and the intention to stretch creative writing possibilities for Nexus students through an online magazine.
