I am really looking forward to joining the Nexus Community,meeting everybody and moving to Malaysia! My teaching journey began 9 years ago when I completed my PGCE in Media Studies at the Central School of Speech and Drama.
Since graduating I have worked in a secondary school in Hertfordshire, UK teaching Media Studies and English, a sixth form college in Cambridge,UK teaching Film and Media Studies and I am currently teaching at an international school in Bangkok ,Thailand. I love teaching my subject as it is so relevant and important in today's society that our young learners are aware of how media is constructed. I also absolutely love teaching in an internationally minded environment and can't wait to expand my experience and knowledge at Nexus.
I will be moving to Kuala Lumpur with my husband and one year old daughter. We love walking and being outdoors in nature. I also have a keen interest in photography and reading.
