Early Years Programme

Phonetic
Learners are taught the Letters and Sounds programme to support them with early reading and writing

Maths session
Learners are taught following White Rose Maths for Early Years, a scheme to develop a deep understanding of number, shape and measure

Specialist sessions
Learners will be taught by a subject specialist. These sessions include; Physical Development, Swimming, Music and Library

Focused group learning
A range of personalised learning groups, such as guided reading, guided writing and supportive/challenging interventions

Talk for Writing
A 15 minute adult-led input related to a theme or a story, followed by ‘Discovery Time
